FAQs
The following are the most common questions I'm asked. If you still have questions or uncertainties, please contact me here.
Having chosen the time and day that work best for you, you will receive a Teams invite for the free discovery call. If you would prefer to do the call over the phone or via a different method, just add a note and that can be arranged.
We get to know each other and explore what has brought you to coaching, what your goals are and what success would look like for you from the coaching. The conversation is warm, non-judgemental and will explore how we work together.
Absolutely. The call is to assess the suitability of the relationship and the value coaching can bring to your life. I am confident that people will want to go ahead because I know the transformative effect of my coaching. However, there is no obligation to purchase coaching after the discovery call.
Following the call, I send a short (and optional) pre-coaching questionnaire - this helps me to get a fuller sense of what has brought you to coaching, and what you want to achieve. I also send an invoice for the sessions and we arrange when the first session will take place.
The conversation is focused on you and moving you forward with your question or challenge. My job is to use active listening and ask powerful questions to help you gain new insights, find solutions, and take accountability for achieving your goals.
Absolutely, I actively encourage clients to reach out with questions, updates and requests for clarification. The action taken between coaching sessions makes all the difference. The aim is to be ambitious so I encourage clients not to delay action by waiting until the next coaching session to ask questions.
Sessions last between 1-2 hours, with a sweet spot of 1.5 hours, in my experience. These can be personalised and adapted to best suit where you are in your journey.
I offer coaching programmes of different lengths. The typical programme is for 6 sessions of 1.5 hours. However, I also offer 10 hour packages and am adaptable to meet your needs.
Generally, online on Teams (or any other video calling platform), but I'm equally happy to do the session in person in or around the London area.
Anyone seeking clarity, change, or growth – whether personally or professionally.
My clients certainly think so (read their testimonials)! More generally, the return on investment (ROI) of coaching was cited as 7 times the initial investment, according to the most recent ICF Global Coaching Study.
Adults over the age of 18. Apart from that, people who are ready to explore, be brave and transform their lives.
My experience is varied to say the least. I have worked in organisational contexts as diverse as: banking, education, tech, elite sport, fashion, government, start-ups, gaming, law, marketing and PR agencies and the pharmaceutical sector.
I have a young family so generally keep to core working hours of 9am-6pm (GMT), but do make exceptions when required.
Confidentiality is a cornerstone of the coaching relationship. Information is only disclosed if required by law, or if there is a clear and present danger of harm to self or others. Coaching sessions are not recorded, and whilst I take notes, these are securely stored and destroyed after 5 years.
Because the coaching I provide is transformational. It is based on expertise, experience and results. It is tailored to you - your needs, your goals, your life.
I have a standard hourly rate of 75/hour. Packages for multiple hours are available at reduced costs.

I believe my coaching has the potential to be life-changing, and putting a price on transformation - career based or personal, is difficult. I also want my coaching to be as accessible to as many people as possible, hence I offer a reduced rate to anyone currently experiencing financial difficulties, please get in touch for more details.

My standard and corporate rates are gauged across industries and, I believe, present exceptional value.

Coaching is an investment in you, and in my experience, and my clients, the return on investment is huge.

Yes, of course. Providing of course, that the person you are referring on behalf of has given their consent.
Any missed or cancelled session with less than 24 hours notice will be charged.
I like the analogy of a bike and a rocket ship. Therapy is more about understanding why you are unable to ride the bike - is there something in your past that presents a barrier to you learning? In mentoring, the mentor has experience of riding a bike and is there to share their knowledge with you to help you get moving. Coaching is a different relationship altogether, there's a lot of asking and not much telling. We are here as your champion, to ask you thought-provoking questions which shine a light on your strengths and help you to achieve your goal of riding a bike. We tap into what you know and break through any limiting beliefs. A coach runs alongside you while you are learning, cheering on your every step, and only lets go when you're ready to ride solo. At which point, we realise it's no longer a bike, but a rocket ship!
The sport and athlete coaching that I provide is all about supercharging the things that fuel performance and excellence in all aspects of your life and sport. We cover enhancing overall well-being, mindset shifts, removing mental blocks, personal development inside and outside of sport, developing lifestyle strategies and tools for managing anxiety, procrastination and self-doubt.
I hold an ILM Level 5 Diploma in Effective Coaching and Mentoring, a Level 3 Certificate in Athlete Personal Development & Lifestyle, and a ILM Certificate in Enhanced Neurodiversity Strategies. I have a 1st Class Degree in Sports Science, and a Masters in Sports Culture with Distinction. I am also a trained Mental Health First Aider, and have completed CPD in various coaching topics such as co-coaching, team coaching and positive psychology.
Generally, around the beautiful parks and outdoors spaces of east London. However, I am happy to travel reasonable distances.
Unless there is a danger to health, yes. We dress for the season and if there is a sudden change to the weather, we usually find shelter under a tree or in a local café and take the chance to grab a hot drink! We are inspired by nature, including the weather, and use it to further our thinking.
